Text messages indented into skin – weird tech from RIM
05Mar11
A new technology has been developed by Blackberry owner Reasearch In Motion and Vitamins Design that indents mobile text messages temporarily into skin.
The idea was inspired by the need to discreetly read messages from your Blackberry during meetings, or other occasions, where taking out the handset to read your message would be inappropriate. Weird science, based on behaviour insight, where people peek at their mobile when they should be giving something else their full attention.
Thanks to IntoMobile for bringng my attention to the story: Here
