advice for brands in Second Life

John Griffiths kindly put Redwood Publishing in touch with me a few weeks ago. Redwood were searching for planning advice for brands considering entering the virtual reality world and online social network Second Life.

With over a million regular users, Second Life isn’t experiencing the sort of growth associated with Facebook right now. But that isn’t really a fair comparison, as Second Life combines aspects of a game, a 3D design environment, a social interaction network and a retail environment. It’s intriguing, but with a steeper initial learning curve than social networks.

Over the last year I’ve participated in and followed the growth of the open-code system and I’ve attached the article for you to read here.
