explore the architecture of London – Open House event, 15-16 September
This weekend sees the return of Open House London, the event that allows people to visit many of the landmark buildings in the capital.
Whether you’d like to look inside some of the most modern or historic buildings; over 600 premises with architectural significance are throwing their doors open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.
Visit Open House for full info.
There is also a Journey Planner available to help you navigate the best routes between the buildings you wish to visit. Just take note of the Post Code of each building from the Open House Guide before you set out. Then text the Post Code for where you are and the next building you wish to visit (e.g. SW1A 2AH to SE1 2AA) to 60835. Transport for London’s travel guide will then text you back with the quickest route.
Many of the landmark buildings in London only open to the public for this event each year. Enjoy.
